TRL Network — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TRL Network ("TRL," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our Discord server, Discord bot, website, and administrative dashboard (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide directly

  • Discord identity: your Discord user ID and username, synced automatically when you interact with the server.
  • Registration details: country of residence, preferred payment method and payment identifier (such as a PayPal email address or UPI ID), and self-reported clipping experience.
  • Social media handles: linked TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube account handles/usernames, submitted for verification of demographics and eligibility.
  • Demographic information: information submitted for demographic review and tier assignment.
  • Support tickets: the content of support tickets you open, including category, reason, messages, and any transcript, plus any rating or feedback you leave about the support you received.
  • Contact/brand inquiries: if you contact us as a brand or partner (via our website contact form), we collect the information you submit, such as name, email, campaign type, and message content.

b) Information generated through your use of the Service

  • Campaign activity: campaigns joined, submission links (post URLs), submission status, and review outcomes (approved, rejected, correction requested).
  • Performance metrics: views, likes, comments, and related engagement metrics for submitted content, tracked over time to verify payouts.
  • Payment records: estimated and verified payout amounts, payment status, and payout history.
  • Referral activity: referral invite codes/links, who you referred, referral milestones reached, and referral bonus status.
  • Moderation records: warnings, kicks, bans, blacklist status, and related notes maintained for enforcement purposes.
  • Server statistics: aggregate, non-identifying snapshots of server membership (e.g., total members, human/bot counts, role counts) used for internal reporting.

c) Information we do not intentionally collect

We do not collect government ID numbers, payment card numbers, or bank account numbers through the bot or dashboard. Payment identifiers we do collect (e.g., a PayPal email or UPI ID) are used solely to send payouts.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Register, verify, and manage clipper accounts;
  • Assign, run, and track campaigns and submissions;
  • Calculate, verify, and issue payouts;
  • Operate the referral program and calculate referral bonuses;
  • Provide customer support through our ticketing system;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, metric manipulation, duplicate accounts, and other abuse;
  • Enforce our Terms of Service, including moderation actions;
  • Respond to brand and partner inquiries;
  • Maintain and improve the Service, including internal reporting and analytics.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our agreement with you (these Terms), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the network, and your consent where you voluntarily provide information (e.g., registration, linked social accounts).

4. Who Has Access to Your Information

  • Server administrators/staff, through our private, credential-protected administrative dashboard, which is used to review registrations, demographics, submissions, tickets, payments, and moderation records. The dashboard is read-only against the bot's stored data.
  • Brand/campaign partners may receive aggregated or campaign-specific performance data (e.g., total views, submission counts) relevant to a campaign they are running, but we do not share your private payment details with brands.
  • Service providers that support our operations, such as hosting providers for the bot/database/dashboard, and any third-party APIs used to verify social media metrics (e.g., pulling public post metrics from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube).
  • Discord, as the underlying platform through which the bot and server operate — your use of Discord is also subject to Discord's own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain account, campaign, submission, payment, and moderation records for as long as needed to operate the Service, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, and meet legitimate business or legal record-keeping needs. If you leave the server, certain records (such as moderation history or past payout records) may be retained rather than immediately deleted, to prevent re-registration abuse and to maintain financial records.

6. Your Choices & Rights

  • You can update certain registration details (such as payment method) through the bot's account settings.
  • You may leave the Discord server at any time, which will limit our ongoing collection of new activity data.
  • Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legitimate need to retain certain records (e.g., financial/payout history, anti-fraud/moderation records).
  • To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@trlnetwork.com.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, including credential-protected access to the administrative dashboard and encrypted session handling. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended only for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 18, we will delete that information and terminate the associated account.

9. Governing Law & International Users

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules on the protection of sensitive personal data or information. We may process and store information in countries other than your own. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information as described in this Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Discord server where practicable, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

11. Contact Us
